Overview
The Rose Engine Butler system was developed by ornamental turners for use with a rose engine. It is designed to provide the ornamental turner a way for synchronizing activities on the rose engine using stepper motors, in a manner which also assists the ornamental turner with reducing the workload for onerous tasks.

This document outlines the procedure for building a Rose Engine Butler system, in particular the steps for installing and setting up LinuxCNC on the Raspberry Pi 5 with a Mesa FPGA board.
Licensing and End User Customization
The end user of the Rose Engine Butler system may modify this procedure outlined in this document to accommodate their local configuration. However, changes to this document’s steps are not supported by Colvin Tools nor Brainwave Embedded.
